I spent most of this week waiting on parts but now just about everything is on the car. I have decided to go from a all red paint scheme to a pearl forest green metalic and pearl charcoal metalic two tone scheme, It will look great with chrome and I personaly think they look best with dark colors.

its an 85-86 grill in the pic you asked about, think its the same on an 84 and maybe earlier too. The grill that doesnt say Buick on it is the 87
yep clear lenses were on the 4 doors and wagons
Nice man! You know what would look unique on that car is a nice edelbrock intake hooked up to a massive filter that sits right underneath a meaty looks scoop. Just one big scoop. or if you don't want to do that a cowl induction hood would be basass.
Damn bro, engine is amazing! what type of paint did you use in it?
Well, everything should go in easily enough. Monte Carlo, Gran Prix, and the Regal all pretty much have the exact same set-up. The only odd part is going to find the engine mounts for the 350. You could probably find those out of a wrecked or junk Mont
That's the beauty of it though. Most of the stuff is interchangeable anyway.
Haha. That sucks...
Did you ever buy the shop manual for that Buick? That could probably help answer a lot of your questions for you. That's what I did for my car, and it's helped a lot in finding stuff and keeping it in tune properly.
I guess it's like guys with motorcycles. It's either a love or a hate thing. I used to not mind them, but cars are the real passion now. Besides, my family is pretty much completely car passionate. My dad and my brothers are all wrench heads.
That's part of the reason why I stopped riding them. I'd rather work on a larger engine that I could find parts for on the cheap rather than trying to tinker with something tiny. Know what I mean?
Used to. I grew out of them when I started getting my hands into cars.
