My machine shop has found and fixed a couple of issues. Top notch work so far.

Engine is halfway thru machining. Nothing major was hurt.

Engine is apart and at a new machine shop. It seems the old machine shop got the rod clearances wrong. I can slide the bearing in with the cap on !! The oil pickup is also loose with a wrong oring sealing it to the block. Im sure it was sucking air there as well. I got very lucky, all bearing are in the copper but none of them spun.

Damn that thing is SWEET! I live in Waterford, probably seen you around. My dad had one when I was a kid and damn are they fast. I hope to have one someday. Check out my bird sometime.
