I'm a poor doctoral student in music composition with 2 kids, an incredibly supportive wife, and a car addiction. There is no way I could afford to own a 1970 Mach 1 except that I bought it in '88 for $1200 and have kept it ever since. And while I loved the Merkur XR4Ti when it came out in '85, I sure as hell couldn't afford it until 20 years later. So that is how I've come to own 2 of my dream cars. It's good to have cheap dream cars, 'cause I'm more likely to eventually own most if not all of them. Gotta love that!
