The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile got itself into quite a pickle when it crashed into a Racine home Friday morning.
Neighbors tell FOX 6 the Wienermobile took a wrong turn and ended up on the dead-end street, Kenilworth Avenue in Racine.
While trying to get turned around, the woman driving the hot dog on wheels accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and lodged the Wienermobile under a house.
The Wienermobile was taken from the scene by tow truck.
The homeowner was recently dropped by her insurance company, and hopes Kraft Foods will cover the damage. However, the driver of the weinermobile did not leave any contact information.
Found over at Orlando Forums, some engine buyer stumbled across this gem.
This is what happens when youre too cheap to buy low compression pistons for turbo applications or if you think you can design a better piston than CP,Diamond, JE, Arias, etc.
This is a motor a friend of mine bought from some idiot as I found out today when I went to inspect the motor. The motor is a 2.2 toyota motor and it had a 3SGTE head bolted on so there was no way for my friend to see the internals.
I couldnt stop laughing when I saw this
Read the thread at the source and enjoy a good laugh.
The economy must be affecting the caped crusader. Guess the Lamborghini set him back too much, so he traded it in for a Camaro and money to pay on back taxes.
Seth Rogen and Andy Samberg will make you feel very uncomfortable in this parody clip of the Fast and the Furious. Titled, "The Fast and the Bi-Curious", you get to see a new side, kind of, of the stars and what their true intentions are.
We've seen quite a bit of off-the-wall stuff over the years and think, "wow, it can't get any worse!" Yes, yes it can. Forget buying those upgraded brake kits when you can just be a poser with these caliper cover kits! Now you're rocking a Brembo for just $30 shipped! Impress your family and friends with your sweet brake config or, um, sweet stickers. Hopefully you already have a FMC intake.. if not, buy one of those while you're at it. Thanks for the tip, 5POINT7!
Did you know that Aston Martins use Volvo keys? We should hardly be surprised, since we all know that Astons dip into the expansive Ford parts bin for everything from sat-navs to switchgear. But you’d expect them to at least go to some lengths to remove the original badging.
Turns out not, as one Aston V8 Vantage owner discovered when his expensive leather-wrapped key fob got scuffed. There, under the damaged hide, it was clearly written ‘Volvo’.
The V8 Vantage borrows quite a few bits from Volvo, including the window and mirror switches, but it’s nothing new. The envious have always known how to upset Aston owners by pointing out the various shared parts, often from much humbler cars.
The keyfob was damaged when we got it back from the client,’ said Edward Legge, general manager of Rio Prestige hire. ‘Our reaction was amusement and slight horror. We all know they share parts, but you would have thought someone would have invested a tenner to rub the name off.’
All the cool kids drift nowadays. Haven't you heard? Drag racing and road racing are soooooooo last decade. Why not fit in with the trend and get this affordable, one-of-a-kind drift Camaro that was found on Craigslist. Fitted with an awesome wing and striking paint job (both inside, and out!), it'd be stupid for you to pass up on this one.
Well now there are about 50 different kinds of truck nuts out there as well as accessories. There's camo truck nuts and chrome plated truck nuts, glowing truck nuts, pink truck nuts, flourescent orange truck ntus, truck nut keychains, and my personal favorite: lighted truck nuts. The lighted truck nuts, or BrakeNutz™ as I like to call them can come in many different variations. You can have two, four, or more super bright leds installed in your these nuts. You can have different colors installed. These lighted truck nuts are funny and useful. They light up when you step on the brakes, and they blinker when you use your turn signals. What will they think of next?
How about the creators think of suicide next. Please?
Ricer mentality - both domestic and import audiences both have offenders. They do stuff that we can lol, rofl, and even lmao at as such the case with this latest find. A home-made creation that takes parts from Home Depot to make a header for a Camry.
"Well today I was enjoying my self going to autozone to get some bulbs for the trailer. If you remember the kid who drilled holes into his car for the wing that was installed backwards and missmatched from the spoted ***** thread. Here is his latest creation. It is a flexipipe header with a home depot air ducting collector. Yes he is seriously going to put this on his camry. When he showed it to me I could not stop laughing to the point where I could not breathe. This somone should photoshop this into an EPIC FAIL or motivational poster."
A forum member recently purchased a car from auction and to his surprise, a few things were a bit "off". He goes into detail:
1. Pager Alarm/Remote Start/Stereo job was a total mess. I found the buisiness card of the installers, some company off of Convoy street here in San Diego. I have learned to never trust "Proffessional Installers"
I won't even get into the number of mistakes they made. Not to mention they opted to install a 'Dual" brand HU which refuses to accept CD's.
2. For whatever reason; the car has KYB shocks/Stock springs on 3 corners, amazingly it has a Tein spring and Tokico shock on the rear left. Why this is is beyond me, I've contemplated finding a justifiable reason for this but came up empty.
The car is considerably lower on one side. 3 Wheel motion, wonderful.
3. I spent the majority of this weekend taking the interior apart. The biggest surprise of them all was what I found after removing the center console. Underneath the armrest, and behind the rear cup holder was a Victorias Secret thong.
My brain was on the verge of exploding when I came across that.
So, this shouldn't come as a surprise if you ask me. Buyers beware! There are some not-so-normal reasons why some cars make it to the auction block. This is just one of the many examples.
This is an actual picture submitted to KTRK in Houston of someone's rational thinking when deciding how they were going to secure their car from the hurricane. I mean, the car is a gem, so I can see why they are so worried about it. Let's hope for the best.
