Here's an untelling angle, compliments of Ford, to show off the new Power Dome hood that will be appearing on the 2010 Mustang. The color definitely helps, but I still wish we got a better shot. What the hell am even looking at? Meh, a few more weeks and we'll finally see what all the fuss is about.

I don't know about you, but I've been dying to make fun of a new fad. Luckily I came into work today scouring the Interweb tubes and found a company that would renew my faith in douchebaggery. Feast your eyes on the Hillbank Motorsports hood for the 2005-2009 Ford Mustang, featuring a see-through window that'll allow you to show that your car DOES have an engine. Let's get all the aftermarket companies in on this. I want to see what my neighbors 1992 Honda Prelude has going on.. that thing sounds sick!

Yesterday, FoMoCo revealed the new pony badge for the 2010 Ford Mustang. Today an image of the hood of the next-generation Mustang popped up on the web.

So far rumors tell us some of the powertrain choices that will be offered under the exact hood you see here. For you fuel-efficient lovers Ford will offer 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 - while the performance enthusiasts will get a 5.0L V8 producing 350 horsepower.

The 2010 Ford Mustang will make its official debut at the 2008 LA Auto Show.
