Isn't it amazing what ideas come from drinking a few too many beers and having a whole lot of land to play with? Besides the fact that you'll probably severely hurt yourself traveling down the thing if anything goes wrong (which I'm sure is a high probability), the retention pool at the bottom doesn't look much friendlier.
