Meh, we always put ls1's in all sorts of imports, we had this coming I guess haha. At least they picked one of Japans best motors, if not the best. Least it wasnt some pos mazda rotary motor or a honda 4 banger haha.
yea true to that, our engines are always in imports, though that engine bay needs to be cleaned up majorly..its dirty looking under there, but the TT is sick!
That's the best import motor they could possibly have put. It's different.. Definitely unique!
i like the 2jz but they would have been better off dropin in a rb26!
interesting to say the least. though i agree, it wasa good choice in motor. and SexyTransAm, they couldn't do an RB26, it'd be played out then. they already did that with a Mustang...remember F&F3: Tokyo Drift?
meh im still not impressed you can always get a twin turbo v8 to outperform that motor no matter whats done to it.. if you're gonna go all out do it the right way.
i would of been more surprised to seen a tt ls1. not a beat up catchers mitt 2jz
C4s weren't dogs for their time, the LT1 cars were pretty damn quick for what all else was out in 1992
I just like to see people of a different background getting into the hobby in a BIG way. Its always the same countries doing this stuff, this is unique.
