i like the new look...i wish i had the cash to buy it tho..

i love the looks of that gt500 i may have to forget my vette idea's. afterall the mustang still has a back seat.

that new front end is awesome.

ford was quick to point out the price difference because stupid consumers don't know anything about cars so they deserve a mustang anyway. i hope i dont have to see old italian men and little grandmas in the new camaros.

I think both the new camaro and the challenger are better looking cars then the mustang. The mustang is just lacking or looks like its trying to hard to fit in.

sounds pretty official to me... I'll sell my house to drive the crap out of one.

The stang may cost less but the only one worth it is the GT500. 315 hp V-8 wow thats pitiful, when the Camaro has a 300hp V-6. I will say I do love the way it looks though. You will never see me buying one. one.

So the base V6 camaro is $1000 - $2600 more then the base mustang, but the camaro has 300hp lol. And you can't even compare the new v8 camaro to a gt. No contest. Camaro's always have and always will be a step above mustangs.

I think the GT500 looks awesome, and the power is all there. If I had the extra cash I would try and pick one up.

How does it have relevance? Product failure is the main reason Ford sells 5 times more vehicles than GM. Product failure is the reason people like me switch brands. How many window motors have you replaced? Headlight motors? Rear differentials? Waterpumps? Pinion seals? Intake gaskets? Etc? I know on my Fireturd for 5 years I replaced all two to three times. The only "idiots" I see are ones who have their noses up GM's ass for some stupid reason and refuse to admit their car is a peice of shit! I will NEVER own another GM in my life after owning the Pontiac Fiero and F-body. I have known people who owned Mustangs with 200,000 miles plus with ZERO problems. Can't say that about an F-body now can you? So who is the REAL idiot?

yea it sucks that ford releases its version of the stang with suck a low hp rating i dont know their method behind it but the way i see it the mustang is more designed around consumer tuning rather then buying it already maxed out from the dealer minus a super or turbo charger. plus the 05+ stangs are ff'in sexy i dont like the hood on the 2010 ones that hump is kinda stupid. and only other problem is the dash it looks alot like the camaros with how the vents are. and the taillights will ggrow on most people who dont like them. next year supposedly the 5.0s come back out but i heard its only 400 hp....still behind in factory hp but oh well lol.

@JoeCool: i dont mean to get in to your internet fight buut, dude. fieros was one of the shit cars GM made. i personly never saw any ford get to 200k that didint need a new engine or trany. ive saw alot of GM trucks and cars get to 200k-300k with out any major problems. you prolly had bad luck in the f-body because pantiac is shit cars. im not tryin to piss you off man im just tellin ya how ive seen stuff with my own two eyes. I'm really trying to understand why people even buy Mustangs. $1,000 to $2,600 more for a base V6 Camaro and you are only 11 horsepower shy a GT "V8" Mustang!!! For only $2-3000 more than the base GT you could have a base SS model Camaro that's put out 426 HP and a much better looking car. That's not even bringing in the Challenger into the mix(also better looking and has more hp.) For all the money you are going to dump in a Mustang to try and keep up with the new Camaro and Challenger, you could have just bought either one and saved yourself the trouble. The new Camaro is a much better deal and I hope they sell 1,000,000 of them.

Now if the Shelby stayed at the 46k not a bad thing. But the new Camaro is going to walk all over the GT and for not much more at all.

ok ya it looks cool and all but its getting kinda spacey dont ya think? and if you look at the front end of the new mustang above it looks a ton like the 2000 nissan skyline!!!! a sweet car in its self but i agree why the hell would you spend so much for so little power!?!? get the camaro youll have a much more pleasing car on your hands! and second of all gms are the shit and fords suck dick!

I really cant stand the whole "fanboy" mentality... I have two high performance GM cars in my driveway, and now a Shelby Mustang... They are all fast, they all work, and guess what? I get WAY more looks than I ever could in the Firehawk or the S-10 in the Shelby, and I've only had it since Tuesday! The point is, if your really a car guy, it doesnt matter wtf brand it is, when your make it your own, then its a bad ass car, no matter what. If your buying a performance car for durability and reliability... please by all means smack your head off the wall as hard as you can...
