True enough, but does it really qualify — over the other, more obvious questionable material in the game — as something that should have a dreaded AO rating?

Seeing as the rating is M and u have to be 17+ to buy it, i don't see a problem, just because u play a violent game doesn't mean u r going to go out and do it.
Some people need to get a life! Its only a video game, and who knows, maybe the people playing will see how hard it is to drive drunk in the game, and say no way for real
Hmmmm what's next? Tree-Huggers gonna be pissed at the Hummers and Escalades in there?
Hey I know, lets have the Film Actors Guild (F.A.G.) rip on it and say the corporations are all corporationy!
What a joke, you don't like what a company produces, tough shit. If it sells, its not gonna be haulted in production.
I guess you dont realize how influential some kids are and ow some parents will buy anything for their kids, hell i know parent who bought the game for a 12yr old. now what could he possibly be thinking? drunk driving is funny, fun, exciting? allota things people can learn through just morals, but drunk driving is something that only pure ignorance can cause. Its a factor that simply coulda came out of the game. hell alotta stuff could come outa that game. i dont even know why its legal to hit the shelves. there are rated r movies that arent as bad as this game. im sure its alota fun and a great game to play but you have to remember no matter who you are, there are alot more people who are a hella lot stupider than you.
sounds like the responsibility of the parent to step up and explain right from wrong to their children. We can't censor the world for the idiots, we'd never get anywhere. (or be nearly as amused)
I'm getting sick of people freaking out over this game. You'd think people would learn that they have choice to play the game and a responsibility to keep it away from thier kids. Did they do research to find out about the drunk driving mission cus I doubt any of them actually played the game. So they probably just went looking for something to bitch about.
i agree with 2000 malibu the game rocks but the problem is you guys are smart and responsible which makes us a small protion of the public out there and yes we all make mistakes but we are smart enuff to learn from them and make sure it doesnt happen again...i love this game but in my opinion it is too widely available and just needs better controls too access it, unfortunately we then lose civil liberties in the process, a very tough line to walk....
ok lemme put this into different terms. ok just about everyone here hated ricers and are very obvious about it. ok now imagine a ricers impression of this game...lol
dumb a** if you play a video game and go out and do what you did cuase it looks cool you need to die anyway
when San Andreas hit the shelves, we heard a lot of the same outcries, and nothing ever came of it. Why do people feel the need to complain about everything? Whats so bad about the game selling? The fact that people have to become more responsible to teach the youth that what you see in the game should NEVER be done in real life? GROW UP
