So many downfalls with an "electric" muscle car. As if ricers hadn't already dominated the 'lost-race' excuse pile, some new ones are bound to come out:
"My car wasn't fully charged"
"I reached my mile limit"
"I didn't have an outlet"
I can see them being dubbed "RC Racers" in the near future.
Hiro's got a point. Although I have to admit. I think some of these Zappers might be giving us Gassers a run for our money. None the less, I'm sure that any electric car that can actually perform like a true powerhouse, will be extremely expensive. You might save money by not having to pay for gas, but you will be paying it in car payments.
Over hundred miles to the charge? How long does it take to charge? Can I charge it at a gas station?
No you can't charge it at a gas station. Read and you will find out the recharge time is 8hours for a full charge on a 110 outlet or 3 from a 220. I still think the testla is a much cooler E-car for the money.
listen up it wont be long unfortunatly elecrtic could be the future... have you ever looked up the Tesla...not exactly slow.
I'm gonna have to call BS on this one. Besides the fact that their email is not valid, that's a lot of weight to get moving in 3.9 seconds.
The smells and the sounds of a gasoline-fed V8 would be sorely missed.
