I don't know about you, but I've been dying to make fun of a new fad. Luckily I came into work today scouring the Interweb tubes and found a company that would renew my faith in douchebaggery. Feast your eyes on the Hillbank Motorsports hood for the 2005-2009 Ford Mustang, featuring a see-through window that'll allow you to show that your car DOES have an engine. Let's get all the aftermarket companies in on this. I want to see what my neighbors 1992 Honda Prelude has going on.. that thing sounds sick!

nice show piece for nice cars......that's about it. I'd hate to have the sun beating down on my chrome TVS2300 Roushcharger.

this concept looked good on the ZR1 because the only thing you saw through the window was the top of the blower that says supercharged. It kind of acts as badging as well. I'm just waiting for the notorious totally clear hood to start poping up again.

I'd just hate having to deal with all the scratches from rocks chipping the glass and everything... at least people generally don't notice it on paint, but the glass? Forget about it.

I still wish those had some form of function, like forcing air or something... but it looks good none the less.

the majority of the population wouldn't know what they're looking at any way, why put a window to it? put a window on the trunk too so people can see if they need to break into your shit or not...
