Dealers busted drag racing new Nissan GTRs

A pair of brand new pre-delivery GT-Rs were spotted doing some rips down the track at the Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, WI, USA on the weekend. These cars were still completely covered in interior plastics and are said to have arrived to the drag strip wearing dealer tags. Someone might be in trouble!

Be careful if you’re buying one of these in Southeastern WI or Northern Illinois/Chicago areas. You will want to verify the delivery mileage as well as general tire condition and so forth. It is being reported that they are from the Milwaukee area. Oh, and a source reported that those guys were at import wars this past weekend. One was running 12.3's and the other guy 12.6's.

thats bad ass, not bad times either

now here is my question, if those are sold as brand new, since im sure they used the launch control button in it, is the warranty void already since nisan says if you use it its voided?

that would suck to come in for warranty work and they tell you that its voided for using that button

Why not? It's good publicity for the cars. Just sell them as dealer demo units. Oh yeah, that's right. The gay French (Renault) that own Nissan don't want you to actually DRIVE them. Lame

Its probably horse crap... Im sure some chodes just asked the dealer to leave the stuff on so it looks like that situation... No dealer is dumb enough... If it was a test drive, cops would have been called in 10 minutes...

Still nice cars though... Too bad they didnt show up to face some American Muscle...

Ok heres a car said to race with the new ZR1. And cant beat a stock LS7 Z06 times.

.....We (and the aussies) are the only people in the world that car about quarter mile times.

ZR1 FTW but the fact that these cars hang with it AND that they are underpowered and heavier.....incredible.
