Not the type to let the competition run amok unchallenged, BMW has just given its enthusiast a glimmer of hope that it will produce a supercar rivaling Audi's critically acclaimed R8. The BMW M Concept, as dipicted in the photos, is designed by South African designer Idres Noah as a proposal.
"So elements like the trademark grille and hockey stick pillar remain. My inspiration for this design however came from nature. More specifically water and the way it flows and ripples. The side detailing was inspired by what's called in surfing terms 'a Barrel or Tube'. It's where the wave is hollow when it breaks."
Noah, being the dreamer that he is, says that the M Concept would be the same size as the R8 and powered by the same 5.0L V10 found in the M5 and M6. As for what we think about the BMW M concpet, we think it looks hot.
