If Pontiac was still alive and Morgan was at the helm.
You still didn't fix the ugly tail lights. What did you do to them? You blacken them out so that it wasn't so obvious that it is still ugly. Lingenfelter got it right on the first shot. But, the headlights look cool.
Plus, 2nd gen T/A's always had a sloped aerodynamic looking nose. For some reason that blunt nose where the Pocho emblem is just doesn't do it for me.
@som2002: Only 74-76 and 79-81's really had a sloped nose on them in my opinion and I own a '79 which was a really sloped nose made of rubber/plastic but the '70-73s had more of the '69-70 GTO sharp points on the front noses.
@Loas: The tail lamps on the Phoenix T/A are very close to '70-73 tails and that's what he might be trying to incorporate in the car even though they might seem ugly to people.
Well, that's much better than the hastily thrown together model from earlier this year.
Spoiler is hilarious. Batman anyone?
Seriously though, it looks much better.
Way better then the Camaro. The spoiler does need to be revisited a little though.
@Tweekssrt4
Looking at the following links I see what you are saying and I think that they still failed to replicate the tail lights. The spoiler and the tail lights need work.

@Loas: Lingenfelter didn't get it right either, both are HIDEOUS. They need to be doing a 1st generation Trans Am because the Camaro is based on a first generation....the body lines and proportions will never look right if they keep trying to make a 2nd gen 'bird.
@kerryt1: Agree, two different animals can not become one, without looking like a bastard child.
@kerryt1: I agree that the car is better suited for a 1st gen retro but between the two Lingenfelter wins. That's my opinion. Btw with those head lights he could pull off a 68 or 69.
@Frazee: Agreed 100 percent. As much as I love the Firebirds, I think they should not exist in a world with out Pontiac.
Right on....I said the same thing about the first version. Both the Lingenfelter concept and the BRE T/A have the vision right; this car is ALL Camaro.
what happened to all the clean lines? there seems to be a lot going on with that car.. i am disappointed..
First of all... @ at all the ungrateful MORONS who flamed this car, the design took after the Camaro shape (which has been done since these cars began). Secondly, from the looks of the front fascia, the designer(s) obviously had a '77 T/A in mind which happens to be the most popular Firebird ever made (thanks to the original Smokie and the Bandit flick). So, to design the concept car with that car in mind was a brilliant move, imo. All you fools who don't have a general appreciation for what was done here can kiss my ass as you are not true Firebird/Trans Am or F-Body enthusiasts.
