You won't believe this...
That is more than my damn house payment! Another reason why it sucks to be a GT-R owner.
wow..... and I thought my car was expensive to maintain... for that amount, I can get a BRAND NEW T56!!!
yeah, i'd find alternatives to the atf and rear fluid. Also, recommend these guys learn how to use a set of wrenches.
thats is just wrong, id rather have an GT-R R34 which is a true sports car for way cheaper.
yeah....kinda shocked as WHAT THE HELL YOU WERE THINKING.
im not trying to hack at you but F*CK
like wow. the guy that said zr1 is right.
you shoulda gone zr1
you coulda went RIGHT now the road (less than 10 miles prolly) and got it services for under 500 IF THAT>
plus=]
you would saved gass.
(seeings how the zr1 gets better mileage.
gtr..
haha POTHETIC> there SALES PITCH ABOUT CAR SPECIFIC FLUIDS...(BULLSH*T)
redline and royal purple woulda done JUS fine. the only reason its so expensive for the stuff you bought is because it was prolly imported hell...
thats like BUYING 8 bottles of high end champaign. haha
wow..
yeah wont b getting nissan or anything foreign anytime soon
so much for being the "greatest deal" supercar. have fun doing that twice a year.
So what are the intervals to change the oil and filter. If its once a year or every 50000 miles. Than it might be a deal. But if your changing it every 3000-5000 miles than its going to get rather expensive quickly. Good luck nissan owners.
Man, people pay 75k for a car worth double-triple that, and they still bitch about the maintenance costs? Do you guys have any idea what it costs to do maintenance on a Lamborghini? Suck it up!
What a joke, yet the nissan fan boys and automotive mags will still love and claim the car to be the best...*sigh*
so thats why they ran so good, the oil was pure liquid plutonium, theres really nothing in the japanese or domestic market that costs that much to upkeep.
so you void the warranty if you use the traction control switch, and it cost over 2000 dollars for a simple lube/oil change, and its a 75k nissan.wow yea I would of bought a ZR1.
Geez! Maintenance on a More than You Can Afford Pal 360 Modena doesn't even cost that much! In and out with all the ANNUAL maintenance from a licensed More than You Can Afford Pal shop is around that much, but at least it's not bi-annual!
I bet the Z06 for the about the same price doesn't cost this much to maintain.
this is what they do they are selling the GTR for not that high price comparing to other super cars like Lambo, Austn,Merc but they charge much for service it look similar to Honduh strategy ...
i have my Crapmaro for 3 years and until now i haven't pay that much for service and repairing >>>
Nissan WHY???
lets see here
lose the warranty for pressing the performance button
bad tranys
$2000 for basic up keep
and this is a super car
try super junk
+1 on why is the fluid so expensive? Also I would like to know who in the hell is dumb enough to pay 2G's for an oil change? The GT-drrr isn't that great or fast for that matter. Just because Road and Track editors drove the GT-R and praised it, now all the Import nut swingers want to call it a "super car". Not to mention the fact that R+T editors are average drivers. Well then they can pay super car prices. Put a Stock ZO6 in the hands of a real driver (same for the Nissan) and watch the Nissan fade into the distance of the ZO6's rear view mirror.
Freaking GT-R man...I love to line up next to one of these and just crush it...I know a few cars in my neighborhood, let alone city, that would eat those POS's for lunch...on pump gas.
Fuggit, I'm done.
@Spitzbergen: i wouldnt be surprised if they use the same trans fluid in a manual transmission like alot of other companies do. so either way you pay the price.
I guess thats what you get when you buy a GTR
