Two more pictures of Transformers mystery car

That random car that was spotted on the set of next year’s Transformers film sequel, dubbed “Revenge of the Fallen”, got some shots taken of it when no one was looking. The new photos confirm that this prototype is indeed a GM vehicle as the rear-end picture reveals the “GM Design” logo on the license plate. Who knows if this is anything hinting at a new C7 platform for the Corvette or if its just some wacky GM concept made for the movie.

The body lines and styling have a lot of reminders of past Corvette concept cars, looks pretty cool

There are soooo many Corvette design cues in this. There's no way a C7 will look exactly like this, but it might be an experiment in design for that purpose.

GM doesn't have the kahunas to produce something this radical. But it is obviously some sort of concept for the C7. Of special note is the split window and if predictions for the C7 to hit the road are correct (2013) it would be the 50th anniversary for one of the most distinctive and desirable vettes of all time, the 63 split.

prob started out as an 08 vette and then got advanced by the transformers. kinda like bumblebee did to the camaro but better

As everyone can tell, it's based on a Corvette design. C7 concept? I'm not sure, but I wouldn't place money on it.

Transformers is a huge movie, that generates tons of cash, mainly because every car maker wants their cars featured, they pay millions.

So being GM was always huge in the movie, I'm pretty sure they donated the most money. My personal opinion is that with all that GM money, they took a Corvette and crafted it a bit to make it "something new and different" for the movie.

Hey at least everyones favorite transformers car that Saleen stang cop car is going to be in the film again so we have something to look forwards too, lol. jk
