Who knew? People like four-doors.
Porsche's crying why it's having hard sales, well instead of making the brand exclusive to yuppies wiht money lining their pockets, how about bringing out an entry level porsche that could attract a larger brand market, like , oh I don't know, the Middle class area. If they could bring out a Mazda Miata/ honda S2000 killer, that could be priced to bring in a younger, tuning world, Porsche wouldn''t be singing the yuppies aren't buying us blues. I love porsche, but since the 80's they left the market of affordable performance vehicles, and decided to turn their noses up to a large buying market, and set their sights on exclusiveness.
@Blacdout96: Cayman isn't too bad. The main problem with buying new is that you can double the MSRP with the millions of options they offer. An entry level car 100% decked out is going to still run 60k+ (PDK trans, PCCB brakes, nav, etc).
@DevilYellow: The Cayman isn't bad, but it's price couldn't appeal to the younger, tuner generation. What I'm sayign is brign out a boxer 4 cylinder car withthe option to get a boxer 6 ( but then it gets pricey) rear wheel drive 2+2, or 2 seater run around, like what the 914 was. Bring back the 914 name for a generation that would eat up a Porsche. It is renouned for it's handling and performance, as well as to obtain easy numbers from tuning. If they could bring out a low 20K car, they wouldn't have that problem anymore about hurting financially. just my opinion.
