Things took a turn for the worst a few months ago. While sitting at a stop light the engine just gave out. There was no warning and no way anyone could have known. It ran strong right to the end. Tear down reveled that two pistons had let go, resulting in two huge holes in the cylinder walls. I acquired a new block and sent every thing off to the engine shop to be built up right. It's not the LS based motor that I wanted but cost is keeping that for another day. Regardless it should be better than what I had.

With the motor and trans pulled I decided that the suspension and brakes needed to be upgraded. After consulting a lot of sources I went with a mild upgrade to an already decent setup. New upper control arms, springs, spidles and brakes where ordered up and a few good friends jumped on board for the install. When all is said and done it will be a step up on the pro touring ladder.
